GreenCape has been working with companies to showcase examples of alternative and reduced water use in their respective business sectors. JG Afrika is an example of a business that has been able to reduce office water use by 67%, between 2011 and 2017, through a simple variety of efficiency and awareness methods.
Amongst the most key of learnings for JG Afrika was the need to first reduce demand (primarily through awareness raising) and then through the investigation and implementation of alternative water sources.
