On the 3rd of May 2018, WWF South Africa and GreenCape hosted a workshop on the current water situation and what it means for businesses in the Epping Industria area. The workshop aimed to address a number of questions. Where are we standing right now in this drought? What alternative water options are available in Epping? What do the cost-benefits for different efficiency options look like? What lessons have business learned and can be shared – and how do we all reach out to our surrounding communities in need? The workshop also included presentations from the City of Town and GreenCape.
