Home 5 News 5 SAPVIA’s PV Greencard Assessment

14 September 2017

The South African Renewable Energy Technology Centre (SARETEC) will be hosting the next round of the PV Installer Assessment on Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 September 2017.

The skills assessment will allow participants to test their theoretical and practical capability of installing PV rooftop systems. It is planned that this assessment will lead the way for the development of a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Toolkit in order to accumulate credits counting towards an officially recognized qualification.

Installers successfully completing the assessment will receive a Certificate from SARETEC and will qualify to be part of a SAPVIA endorsed installer database which also forms a key entry point to become part of the PV GreenCard programme.

Those interested should complete this application form and submit no later than 18 September 2017 to Julie Medhurst at [email protected]. Please note that there are a limited number of seats available for participation. The cost for this assessment is R3000.00 (ex VAT)
